DIRECTSKILLS was my first employer when I left School: my job, overall, is to generate code, I have been a developer for 10 years and I find it still as interesting as in day one. I learned and became a Developer under COLDFUSION. I have increased in skills on the functional side and I am now a real referent.

For almost 3 years, we have changed the technologies of our solutions : REACT/REDUX on the Front side and JAVA/SPRING on the Back side. For my part, I am currently improving my skills on JAVA, both through my theoretical readings and through my experience here. I also work a lot under Cold Fusion and SQL for database management.

I mainly do debugging, that is to say that when there is a problem on our software, I look for the error in the code and the challenge is to unblock the client as quickly as possible, so that he can continue to work. Either workaround or patching is proposed. It depends on the case, some are very simple and other anomalies require complex functional studies.

I feel useful in my work which gives a sense of accomplishment. There is a good atmosphere, the colleagues are very friendly and I am lucky to have a very committed manager. We have kept a human scale and it is really nice as it helps to keep close connection both professionally and personally, almost like a family. In 10 years of seniority, I could see the company grow and make friends, we share tough moments but also mice team building activities or after-work. These events are very diverse and we always have good times because we get along very well. Both for the sector of activity and for the good work climate, we are truly priviledged to be part of the journey.
